In its early years, the institution operated under the name Toruńska Szkoła Wyższa. Between 2013 and 2022 it was known as Kolegium Jagiellońskie – Toruńska Szkoła Wyższa. The current name, Jagiellonian Academy, was adopted in 2022.

All study programmes offered by the Jagiellonian Academy are practice-oriented, designed to prepare students for the demands of the modern labour market.

The Academy also offers a wide range of postgraduate programmes, enabling graduates and professionals to quickly adapt their qualifications to a rapidly changing job market.

Chinese Language Courses at the Jagiellonian Academy

The Jagiellonian Academy is located in the very heart of Toruń’s Old Town, creating a truly unique learning atmosphere surrounded by historic architecture listed as UNESCO World Heritage. Its central location offers students direct access to the city’s cultural and business environment, strengthening the practical dimension of their education.

These courses are available to all AJ students, including international participants — and Erasmus+ students can attend them free of charge. This gives our community access not only to an additional language, but also to valuable cultural insight and new opportunities for academic and professional growth.
