Important Publication of Prof. Grzegorz Górski

Prof. Grzegorz Górski, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Jagiellonian College and professor of our university, has just edited an important book: The Polish Underground State 1939 – 1945.
The publication is a broad study about the Polish constitutional experience during World War II that is unique on a worldwide scale. The Polish Underground State was founded in the Polish territories occupied by the German Nazi Third Reich and Bolshevik Soviet Russia. The Polish Nation not only fought against the occupants for six years, but also re-established in secret all state structures eliminated by the Germans and Russians .
Prof. Górski’s study presents these constitutional structures and compares them with the European Resitance Movement during World War II, explaining important differences between the two.
